What is your unique selling point?

Are you a good carpenter, engineer, salesperson, manager or whatever...

(This is a deliberately short article because your unique selling point needs to be told quickly and concisely).

When you meet someone in either a work or private situation you will be constantly asked "what do you do?"  Which means you have a "window of opportunity" to tell your story (this applies equally to extroverts and introverts).

Example based on you being a social worker:

I am a social worker assisting young people at risk...my point of difference is that I have developed great listening skills and the ability to quickly gain the trust of my often "fragile" clients.

That's it...no more! 

This example can be adapted to any occupation and clearly stamps your expertise and value to the employment market.
