Don't use AI systems for online job application documents

AI is killing the online recruitment process!
Recruiters and hiring managers are aghast at the sudden disruption to their online recruitment practices.
- Numerous job applications easily generated via AI systems and automated methods are swamping online job sites and employer websites.
- Sophisticated software now exists that quickly identifies AI content and consequently immediately alerts hiring managers, who, in most cases, reject the application.
AI is a revolution that is here now. It will bring both benefits and negatives to society and cannot be ignored.
Nevertheless, DO NOT USE IT in the job application process or for lodging personally written electronic documents. Beware of commercial organisations promoting these online services!
Just because it is quick and easy does not automatically lead to better job search outcomes—the opposite is more likely.
This also applies to written reports, assignments, theses or similar documents, without the appropriate bibliography. When used cautiously, AI is an excellent research tool; however, presenting it as a whole or in part as your own work is fraught with risk and potential reputational damage for years to come...don't take chances with your digital footprint.
